There is a new Capoeira movie in brazilian cinemas that hopefully will make it to european movie theaters too. The movie is about a Capoeira legend called Bessouro - legends say that this capoeirista thanks to the powers of nature was able to fly.

After two months of traveling around Mestre Magnata is going to leave Europe at the beginning of Feburary. You should take the chance to have a training with him at the Escola Mukambu in Hamburg if you live there or are in town. There are four exercise possibilites per week and we are trying to organize an open roda at the beginning of February as leave-taking. That even will be organized by Mestre Paulo Siqueira, Contra-Mestre Moreira, Contra-Mestre Joel with support by Emanuel Bettencourt at the Taiyo Sport Center in Hamburg, Germany. We updated the maxium storage capacity for your Profile photos! From now on you have 5 MB instead of 2 MB for images. And instead of just 10 photos you can upload now up to 60 (!) photos to your profile. Now this is a late christmas present, isn't it!? Please be so kind to updated Capoeira photos mainly :)
The end is neigh - well thanksfull only the end of the year! And this lead to the idea to inform you every month about the upcoming events of the next month. Great idea until we realized that for January 2010 there is only one (!) event.
